Extract and convert .bfsar and .bfstm files by ireece1 at 6:09 PM EST on November 26, 2014
its been a really long time since i've been here. bit of a noobish question here, but what tools can i use to extract the sound and stream files from their archives. Can't seem to find anything that would do just that. Also, once extracted what tools should i use to convert said files to a playable format?
You can use vgmtoolbox to extract .bfsar files to .bfwav files, and both .bfwav files and .bfstm files can be converted into .wav files by means of Foobar2000 and vgmstream plugin, which can be downloaded on the official website of Foobar2k.
I read about the VGMtoolbox in another thread but the link to the AdvancedCutter .xml plugin for the Wii U is broken (no data received.) I'll give Foobar2K a try when i figure out how to get it working. Thanks! (if possible, could i get an alt-link to that .xml file?)
