N64 Sound mapping -> DLS Soundfont Instrument by SubDrag at 5:12 AM EDT on May 2, 2015
I wanted to try and see if anyone had the full mapping. It seems like some of the soundfonts I've seen, they manually have to correct some things. I'd like to do some tests of using real data straight from sound...but can't find any good dls writer.
I have the feeling I may have done something to this thread that warrants the following reaction: http://archive.iam.uic.edu/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/21962686.jpg
I was looking for the same thing a while ago and from what I could find, libgig looked like the most promising alternative. I haven't tried it out yet though so I don't know if it actually is any good. Please let us know what you end up using. :)
Doh it's GPL license! I've been trying to keep all my stuff no strings attached. Although if I can't find any better, I guess I can separate any GPL code. Looks promising at least from description.
I am sorry to report, that this writes corrupt dls files :( At least building in visual studio. Well, it thinks they are correct if you runs its dlsdump, but it won't open in any soundfont tools.
