Desperately seeking Dirge of Cerberus <;) by SquareTex at 8:08 AM EDT on May 25, 2015
Greetings folks. :)

It's been ages since I've posted here, so it wouldn't surprise me if nobody remembers who I am. But about 8 years ago, I had created a set of ADX files for the loopable tracks from Masashi Hamauzu's sountrack for Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. At the time, the game had yet to ripped, and even then there was a matter of handling its Atrac encoding.

Well, due to clumsiness on my part, I lost my personal collection of 'em. The file restore DID pull back what it thought was ADX files, but in the process they had become too corrupted to play.

So that's why I'm here. Does anyone please still have that unofficial ADX collection? Or better yet, does vgmstream support the official AC3 rip, and where can I get that?

Thanks. Glad to see the ol' community is still alive and kicking. :D

Here's the thread, don't think I ever downloaded those, unfortunately.

I grabbed it, but I'm not at my computer right now, and it's going to take me some time to find the "originals" (I have it copied multiple times, but in the process, somewhere along the line my portable MP3 player's HDD decided to randomly start corrupting files, so I can't verify the integrity of the copies, which is why I need to look for my original).

I might be able to find it tomorrow though. Where should I upload it, if/when I find it? Mouser X over.

I'd appreciate it, MouserX. If you have something like sendspace or Mediafire, I'd be fine with that. :)

Speaking of sendspace, I did revisit my old thread, hcs. Those links are ancient history...kinda like me. <;)

I found the "original". That is, you produced your original in 3 parts (well, 2 parts. But somewhere along the line, you provided some extras). Part one was from disc 1, and part 2 was from disc 2. To simplify things on my computer, I included your extras as part 3. I then combined them into one archive, which is what I have. I no longer have your original uploaded archives. That said, I'm sure this combined archive is just fine (both 7zip and WinRAR tests says the integrity is good), but I don't currently have time to upload it right now. I might have time later this week (possibly tomorrow?).

Anyway, just letting you know I haven't forgotten. I just rarely have time to power on my PC (and get internet at the same time). Mouser X over.

Well, I'm glad I remembered to check back here, so no worries on the delay. <;)

Anyway, I think I remember why there were three parts. The first two were for the two discs of the OST, and the third was for the Multiplayer bonus album that appeared on Japan iTunes. (That's where "Turks 101", one of my all-time favories from DoC, came from.)
