[Meta] Does hcs need/have moderators? by robotortoise at 1:39 PM EDT on June 15, 2015
I've seen quite a few posts that are blatantly breaking the rules in the Wii U Music/Wii U 3DS posts. People are requesting and doing other rule-breaking things.

Are there moderators to remove those comments?

What? I don't see any board rules anywhere. Why should hcs follow any arbitrary rules set by thread creators? If people break their made up rules, then they stop contributing to the thread. People will get over it, and new people will come in and fill the gaps. This isn't some hugbox.

That's refreshing as hell, thank you for that.
Based freedom, if only other people felt the same way, I'm looking at you, Nicholas Nyberg. Cunt. Bitch.

Anyway, I still depend on crediar for stuff, so I made a separate thread for whatever he doesn't allow in his own thread, hoping that it'll grow, so crediar doesn't hightail outta there.

This board/community is small enough to not need mods, honestly. You get the odd troll or spammer sometimes, but they're just ignored and go elsewhere.

Honestly I think crediar is being a bit too serious about his thread, but if he wants us to stop going off-topic, we probably should considering we depend on him for decrypting dumps ATM.

We don't depend on him on decrypting scene dumps. Unless he has a really fast connection, and everyone else has a really slow one.

EDIT:
Because he released a program that decrypts them.

*sigh*

What's everyone's obsession with the word "hugbox"? Everytime I bring up moderators, someone says they don't want this place to turn into a "hugbox".

Moderators remove people breaking rules, being dicks, or off-topic content. Simple as that.

No need to pretend it's some sort of hugbox deal

That said, if they're HIS rules, and not the fourm's, they don't need to be enforced.

Well, it's not that easy to get your hands on dumps. Unless there's somewhere I don't know about? I guess I just assumed that crediar knew someone who could provide him with dumps, but is it easier than that? Could I do it, for instance?
by robotortoise at 1:53 PM EDT on June 16, 2015
Yeah, that's basically what I was getting at. Crediar is the only one who provides us with dumps so it'd be wise to not irritate him.
by dj4uk6cjm at 2:05 PM EDT on June 16, 2015
Crediar is the most powerful being in the universe (online universe that is)...they don't call him cred[it]iar for nothing you know, best not to antagonize him or he'll go ssj god on you.

Also I think its okay to have a little humor in some of these posts on hcs64, doesn't have to be seriousness and whatnot all the time. Being a douchebag though is another story, those are the ones that should be banned if causing trouble. Just saying.
