I noticed in the PC archive on joshw's site there's Dawn of War archived but... nothing can play these aifc's back.

So what do I do with these files?

Start looking for Relic AIFx Winamp plugin, you should find it rather easily as the first of the second search result.

A winamp plugin but no ffmpeg or vgmstream support? Nothing crossplatform either?

Actually I`ve no idea of anything else and I am not quite sure I correctly understand what your mean under "crossplatform" in this case. Solutions for OSes other than Windows or something? Because it really makes sense if there`s a limited amount of Winamp ports to the likes of Android or iOS or something else and you`re forced to listen to these atypical AIFC files on desktops only.

I`m glad to be of help especially if I coincidentally had to reacquire this specific plugin a week or so ago just not for DoW rips this time around.

I'm on Linux, stopped using windows ever since it broke on me in the most esoteric and retarded way possible.

And I've had no luck getting Winamp working under Wine, even through the use of winetricks like everyone says to do...
