I've tagged and sent in a bunch of NSFE files and they are now up at Slick Productions (the nsfe site).

Now I know why I stopped tagging the games a couple years back - many of the games are just horrible. But that's why I like the music, it gets pounded in your brain so many times, you can't help but like it.

Updated GBS2GB with enough header fixes that BGB won't complain about the file having bad info anymore.

ugetab, a question:

You mention that the Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors GBS plays wrong is NEZPlug. Does the GBS play fine in other players (in_gbs/GME) or should I just include the GB file in this case?
by ugetab at 3:14 AM EDT on May 29, 2007
Add the .GB if you want to be sure. The GBS plays track 20 correctly in BGB, so I can only assume that it's nezplug that's the problem. I'm not familiar with the workings of any other GBS plugins at this point, because most of the ones I hear about have different problems from one-another. Every GBS emulation method except BGB is fairly aged from what I understand.

KiGB is also good from what I gather, but I'm not sure if it handles GBS files (well, easily fixable with GBS2GB :P).

ugetab, seems the NESDev forum didn't send my PM to you (strangely enough, it just sits there in the outbox folder, dunno what happened), so I'm kinda reposting it here (as you seem to frequent this thread). :)

The archive with Robot Wars GBS on your site is borked (zip header only, no files inside).

Also I'm uploading an updated NSF Pack with all those rips that floated from 2ch and all your recent work.

fixed the file.

As for nesdev, I occasionally get logged out for any number of reasons, and don't notice until I happen to glance at the right area of the screen, or try to make a post.

The Lagrangepoint NSF now has composers.

More? Wow! That is great.

Hmmm... I wonder if the title of this topic is really accurate? Maybe it is just provocative. :)
