We all met at the train station in New Brunswick and enjoyed a traditional McDonald's breakfast on the way to the airport. Our flight was on a Boeing 777-200ER. We arrived in Narita Airport 14 or so hours later.
After getting through immigration, getting our bags, currency exchange, etc., we took a train into Tokyo (seeing many interesting sights along the tracks which I regret not having hands free to photograph), and wandered around for a while looking for our hotel. We would only be staying here a night before moving into the conference hotel, the Hilton Tokyo Bay.
After settling into our rooms we walked towards the lights and had a dinner of foods selected by approximately what they looked like on the menu.
