Tech Trek, presented by IBM!

But first, dancing children!

They were like 12 and had toy swords.

There were a few talks that didn't make good photo material, but then we had Matz, who spoke about software design.
It was a neat talk, and makes me want to check out Ruby, as it seems to have been designed with programmer enjoyment in mind (or so he says).

He had this little gem (get it? gem? Ruby? ha?) to share, which I think I will live my life by.

There was a presentation meant to demonstrate webconferencing with Second Life. It was somewhat unconvincing.

We were dismissed and got someone to take a team picture.
