I never said this thread, I said tracker.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii (2009)(Nintendo)[WII][Nintendo DSP][BRSTM]

Well stink. I was listening to a recently released set (uses ADS), and VGMstream r795 from May 19 2010 incorrectly interpreted the loop points as 0 and 0 for start and end. This resulted in files that basically hung Winamp when you attempted to play them. Apparently, the files have no loop points (at least, the most recent version of VGMstream tells me this). So, why the confusion? I mean, why was VGMstream misinterpreting the loop points, and what (and when) was fixed?

Basically, this post is no longer necessary, since updating the plugin fixed the problem. Mouser X over and out.

@bxaimc: That link you gave me seemed to give me what i wanted, but after getting an error message from the MENU STRM, the rest of the files have the same problem as before.

That's because your sound card doesn't support mixing and files with more than 6 channels.

What do you suggest for a Windows 7 64 bit OS?
by bxaimc at 7:39 AM EDT on July 22, 2010
It's not really about your OS. After all, it's not really a big problem. You could a) buy a new card that supports hardware mixing or b)just stay with it and just turn those 8+ channel files into wavs and toss them into audacity, for example, for listening.

Or download Wumpus OpenAL, which uses the hardware of the system instead of software.

Works for me, except I can't seek through files that VGMStream plays as it starts seeking really slowly and I have no idea why it does that. (All plugins must be set to 16-bit and not 24+)

Thank you, thank you! and Good Night!!
@manakoAT: ssshhhh he doesn't have to know :P
lol, yea it wasn't me who ripped it. mana was the true ripper but it does get confusing since I'm the one who usually posts the tracker updates. Torrent descriptions state the uploader's name.
