Wow thank you for all of these goodies! :D

By the by, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia's intro music seems to be missing from the pack (it should be a stream file).

Also, do you think you could make a 2sf rip of Dragon Ball Z Kai (the Monolith RPG)? That game has some seriously good battle tunes.
by Knurek at 4:30 PM EDT on May 14, 2012
Ecclesia: Intro music streamed in a mobiclip video (mv/vamp.vx). I haven't been able to find a demux tool for this format, so sadly, you will have to make do with the rip in it's current form.

DBZ Kai: Sure, will be up with the next update. Anything else you'd like to see?
by Pixel_Crusher at 12:03 PM EDT on May 15, 2012
Can't think of anything else that's worth ripping, but thanks for asking anyways. =)

EDIT: Actually, do you think you can make 2sf rips of Mighty Milky Way and Mighty Flip Champs? They're DSiWare games, but it seems CaitSith2 already managed to rip Shantae: Risky's Revenge (also a DSiWare game), so it shouldn't be impossible to rip those two as well I guess...

2SF Music Archive
by Mouser X at 6:26 AM EDT on June 19, 2012
I can "fairly easily" tag the Solatorobo 2SF set (I bought the game. It's AWESOME!!! :D Not only does it have New Game+ (though it doesn't call it that), it also has New Game++ (again, it doesn't use that name) which means that on your 3rd play through, it continues to provide new content (in the form of additional upgrades). The easiest way for me to describe it, is to compare it to a conglomeration of Skies of Arcadia, MegaMan Legends (2, more than 1), and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, which are in my top 7 favorite games ever.... (well, MoTB isn't in my top 7, but it's up there)), but I was wondering if I should tag it according to the OST (which came with the game. Awesome!), or if I should tag it according to the in-game sound selection.

Right now, the 2SF is numbered and ordered (but not named/titled) as the in-game music selection (except the last 2? I haven't unlocked them yet, but there's an FAQ that has 79 and 80 swapped from the 2SF set. And no. I only used the FAQ to figure out what the different "upgrade parts" are good for. And to see what songs were unlocked). However, if I were to name/number the 2SF set as the OST, I'd have to (most likely...) open my still-sealed CD case, because I'm having slight difficulty finding an English translation of the OST (in downloadable form). The other option is to assume that the tracks in the Japanese OST are the same as the English one (which I feel is a safe assumption), and then confirm it, by listening to the in-game music selection, and making sure the names match up.

So, should I order it according to the in-game selection (which has all the music), or the OST? Or, should I just include a *.BAT file that can switch between the 2 lists (renaming and retagging accordingly). Also, for kicks and giggles, should I include the "Shooting Star *" (#74 in the 2SF set, #24 and last song on the OST) from the OST, as it contains vocals?

Based on name alone (I haven't listened to the OST side-by-side with the 2SF/NDS yet), these are the 2SFs that are in the OST, in their OST track order (excluding track 1, because I can't find "And Then, to CODA", which is track 1 on the OST, in the 2SF set. It's obviously streamed. I suspect it's the audio from the video files (that play when you start up the game)):

04 Little Tail March
15 Another Morning
17 Spiral Nightmare
13 Overture
22 Soulless Enemy
03 Decisive Battle
26 Pride in Blood
16 Cosmic Stylings
24 Roll'n Roll'n
40 My Distant Blade
45 Drop of Light
44 Terror Awakes
41 Our Hero Appears
46 See Tomorrow
27 Limits of Greed
29 DNA
35 Battle of Fate
57 A Flower for You
59 Name of Light
28 To True Return
58 Depend On Me
80 Re-CODA
74 Shooting Star *

(Though, as I said, "80 Re-CODA" should be "79 Re-CODA" according to the FAQ. Since I haven't unlocked it yet (and either I *SUCK* at the racing missions in this game, or the controls are abysmally bad), and to do so requires that I finish all the missions [including the racing ones. :( ], I can't confirm that as yet)

There's 57 songs missing from the OST (and two from the 2SF set, if you include "And Then, to CODA" and "Shooting Star *", due to the vocals), so I wasn't sure the OST was the best option to follow, especially considering that there's an in-game music selection (which the 2SF set already very nearly matches).

Anyway, suggestions would be appreciated. Mouser X over and out.

If the OST is so grossly incomplete, I'd much rather you use the (complete, right?) soundtest order.

http://www.rockmanpm.com/lol/2SF/WIP/Pokemon Black 2 & White 2 (2012)(Game Freak)(Nintendo).zip

I put up a really quick rip of it, it's late at night for me now, but I will work with the rip some more and add more information. ^^

I will remove the sound effects later, they are inside the archive, and I'm also looking for the artist names and I will do some tags later too.

Have fun with the early rip for now, including STRM.

EDIT: I updated the WIP pack at the top of this post.

I named every song and melody based on sdat song IDs, removed the unnecessary sound effects, and it can work as a release pack for the manly archive, but I have a few more things to add to the pack before I release it. I'm listening to the songs making sure I didn't miss anything. I hope you will accept my pack, because I put hours work into it. ^^;
