@Mouser X: Actually identifying games that don't use stock driver is about as easy as it gets. I've even posted a list of those I could find two or three pages back.
Doesn't change much of course, as it's the hacking part that's very much problematic.

- Just wondering if anyone has the original, untagged Phoenix Wright 2 and 3 sets. I'm looking for some sound effects, and missing tracks.
I noticed the original PW set had a lot of extra files that needed to be culled out, but the sound effects were in there as well. I was thinking it'd be the same with the other two.

- Nope, didn't delete any during the tagging process. I think they were kept separate from BGM, so I didn't rip them.

- If the only thing you need to do is record some SFX, VGMTrans should be sufficable.

- I take it you volunteer to browse through 1500+ songs and trim SFX. Oh, and optimize the set beforehand (with 1500+ songs it shouldn't take longer than a two days on Core2 Duo, really)?
Because I sure as hell don't plan on doing either.
