Ahh and does the current 2SF format only use Yoshi Island DS's driver?

So I guess from what you are saying is that you are not going to attempt it (If it even can be attempted)...

Is that the only D.S. game like that?

You sure that Di/Pe/Pl use a custom driver? VGMtrans plays the music just fine.
by Elven Spellmaker at 2:23 PM EDT on October 10, 2008
@Omochao: What version of VGMTrans do you have?

They do indeed work in VGMTrans! =D

My version says copyright 2002, I wondered if there was a newer version?

They work as I said but of course I want the latest version of it... But 2002 might be the latest version...

Hmm, does that mean it doesn't use a custom header, or is this program just good?

Desmume_Trace by Ice_Pegasus at 12:02 PM EDT on October 12, 2008
Wow! Not this is a great program! I always wanted to rip my own 2sf....but i couldnt compile the source code...kept saying "Could not include the file windows.h" But this is great! Thanks, whoever made it....
by bxaimc at 1:20 PM EDT on October 12, 2008
if you're talking about:

DeSmuME_trace.exe "modcrap.nds" --trace_bottom=0 --trace_top=40

hcs made this change so that we wouldn't need to recompile Desmume for every 2sf set that needed to be ripped
One Problem.... by Ice_Pegasus at 2:09 PM EDT on October 12, 2008
Just 1 problem...im following instructions from the Generic_driver ripkit...i follow the instructions exactly (just dont use the compiling) and i use the command line....im trying to Rip Megaman Star Force 2 for fun, but after i rip it and got the clean.nds and the 2sflib, i try to make mini2sf files....when they are made, i load them into winamp, but its blank? It gives a time of 2:00, but nothing plays.....
by snakemeat at 2:13 PM EDT on October 12, 2008
Hmm, you may need to use psfpoint to update the "_lib" tags in your .mini2sfs:

psfpoint -_lib="foo.2sflib" *.mini2sf

Of course replace foo.2sflib with your 2sflib file name.

I know im a noob at this....but what exactly is psfpoint?
by snakemeat at 2:44 PM EDT on October 12, 2008
http://www.neillcorlett.com/psfpoint/

it changes the tag info for xSF files.

I am trying to rip Wario Ware: Touched!, and I am having the same problem - the first file (0000) plays, but the others do not. PSFpoint made no difference.
