Kagayaku Kisetsu e (輝く季節へ) PSF help by Sep7 at 10:48 AM EDT on September 21, 2025
I'd like help to create PSFs for Kagayaku Kisetsu e - Regular Edition (SLPS 01975). I've managed to extract the SEQs, VB and VH files and I've used VGMToolbox to create PSF files.
I've tried to use the Mark drivers but the game uses reverb so I needed to use the Davironica drivers. However even with the Davironica drivers, the music don't always sound how they should. For example, some parts in the song 勝利のポーズ sound muffled as if some notes weren't playing.
Hi, if you talk about the names of the songs, here they are: SFX1 SFX2 SFX3 SFX4 SFX5 オンユアマーク 日々のいとまに 走る!少女たち 乙女希望 8匹のネコ 虹をみた小径 無邪気に笑顔 潮騒の午後 勝利のポーズ 見た目はお嬢様 雪のように白く 追想 ゆらめくひかり 海鳴り 雨 永遠 偽りのテンペスト A Tair 遠いまなざし 輝く季節へ (they can be seen in the sound test you unlock after having finished the game once) EDIT: I've also added the 5 SFXs that should be stored before the songs and that I also would like to have.

Hi,
Thanks for the list which can indeed be found in the Music Mode menu. I meant an English translated track list if you can provide one. :) Also, do you know who is the music composer ?
I didn't bother with the SFX to be honnest, but have a full BGM rip using original driver that i need to clean up a bit when i'll get some free time so just be patient for now.
Side note i used Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) which has SLPS-01972 as serial. I don't know where SLPS 01975 you mentioned comes from but i couldn't find it when checking: Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) (Demo) Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) (Disc 1) (Shokai Genteiban) Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) (Disc 2) (Special Disc) (Shokai Genteiban) Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan)
Regarding the serials, here are the corresponding ones for each of the releases you mentioned: SLPM 80408 Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) (Demo) SLPS 01972 Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) (Disc 1) (Shokai Genteiban) SLPS 01973 Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) (Disc 2) (Special Disc) (Shokai Genteiban) SLPS 01975 Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan)
SLPS 01972 and SLPS 01975 are basically the same thing it's just that 01975 is contained in an edition with just one CD and 01972 is contained into an edition with both a CD having the main story and a special CD with bonuses. Feel free to use whichever you want.
I'm not sure how much information you can include so here's everything I know about these tracks. When the game was originally released on PC, the composers were these ones: Orito Shinji, YET11, Ishisan, M.S and OdiakeS. Orito Shinji was also credited for Music Supervision. When the game was ported on PS1 they had to edit the music and Abo Takeshi was credited for Music Editing. Here's a detail of the tracks with their English names and who composed each of them:
オンユアマーク On Your Mark Composed by Orito Shinji.
日々のいとまに Everyday Leisure Composed by YET11.
走る!少女たち Girls on the Run! Composed by Orito Shinji.
乙女希望 Maiden Desire Composed by YET11.
8匹のネコ Eight Cats Composed by Orito Shinji.
虹をみた小径 The Lane where I saw a Rainbow Composed by M.S.
無邪気に笑顔 Innocently Smiling Composed by Ishisan.
潮騒の午後 A Sea Roaring Afternoon Composed by Orito Shinji.
勝利のポーズ Victory Pose Composed by YET11.
見た目はお嬢様 The Appearance of a Lady Composed by Orito Shinji.
雪のように白く White Like the Snow Composed by YET11.
追想 Recollection Composed by Orito Shinji.
ゆらめくひかり Flickering Light Composed by Ishisan.
海鳴り The Rumbling of the Sea Composed by Orito Shinji.
雨 Rain Composed by YET11.
永遠 Eternity Composed by Orito Shinji.
偽りのテンペスト A False Tempest Composed by OdiakeS.
A Tair A Tair Composed by Orito Shinji.
遠いまなざし Faraway Look Composed by YET11.
輝く季節へ To the Radiant Season Composed by Orito Shinji.
Many thanks for the track titles and composers list. I may have the rip available by the end of the week. :) I guess the SLPS 01975 serial for Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) was used for the game's package. The main executable SLPS_019.72 is the same for both Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) and Kagayaku Kisetsu e (Japan) (Disc 1) (Shokai Genteiban)
I see, I remember that the image disks were like 99% similar when I compared them a while ago. If the executables are the same it means that there wouldn't be any difference between the drivers in any case.
Of course, I'm gonna give you the script that VGMToolbox gave me using my seq files. The result seemed good for me, I just made two changes to it: - I've changed the length of the song 輝く季節へ, this is because this track behaves in a special way. It's the end credit music and it doesn't loop when you're listening to it in game (even in the Music Mode). The reason for this is that at the end of the track there's 13 seconds of silence and the track is programmed to keep looping these 13 seconds over and over. So I've used the beginning of the loop as the end of the track and used 0 fade. - For the song 偽りのテンペスト I've used 0 fade, it's a track that is supposed to loop but since it ends with a long silence and it loops exactly at 0:00, I thought it'd be more clean like this.
