Rayman Music by Droolie at 11:29 AM EDT on July 24, 2008
Hey there!

It's Droolie here, the creator of RayTunes.

I was wondering if I could get any help ripping any Rayman soundtracks.

I'm especially interested in Rayman 2: Revolution for PS2, which has been done before ( I think ) by unknownfile, but never posted.

But not only Rayman 2: Revolution, also Rayman 3. As you can see, the soundtrack is already on RayTunes for a long time, but I've been really stupid, because I saved all the mp3's in mono format, and only 128 bitrate, so low quality, which means that I'd really want to rip it again.
But this time, I'd like to rip it from the GC version. I've uploaded a FileCutter archive here, but if that's not enough for ya, I'll upload the complete file in which the music is encrypted.

But I'd also like some help for Rayman Raving Rabbids 2.
As some people here probably already know, RRR2 uses *.wam and *.waa files for its music, but it's unreadable by in_cube.
If you want a sample of a wam file, go here.

That's some request, eh?
I hope you're not scared by the amount of games I request help for.
So... could you please help me?

Thanks,
Droolie.

I did some Rayman 2 stuff, however I never did anything with it. It's nothing too special, and I don't think I have it anymore, but I'll look for it.

THANKS MUCH by Yoshinkeru at 10:25 AM EDT on July 25, 2008
Just wanted to thank you for all your hard work, Droolie! I had wanted to record the music off of my Rayman 2: The Great Escape game for the Dreamcast for a while, but it looks like this will do it for me! Again, thanks a lot!

Thanks everyone for the comments. ^^

@ wolupgm6: I check it every month, and I checked it ( and its forums ) now, and it's not there. The only thing that's there is a crappy R2 ( not Revolution ) soundtrack.

@ unknownfile: So? Do you still have it? :)

About the Rayman Revolution soundtrack though... I have the extra tracks on my computer, only two tracks still have to be done. So, it's no problem if nobody here helps me about that one.

I do care about the Rayman 3 soundtrack though... does anybody here know anything... anything AT ALL about that compression?

Thanks.

@Droolie - is it possible to upload some more samples? it's implemented in vgmstream, but i can't find the interleave value in your sample file!

A sample of which game's music? RRR2?
Then here's another sample.

News: I don't need to rip Rayman Revolution and Rayman 3 ( stereo ) anymore... Both are now on RayTunes. ^^
Can I get some help with Rayman Raving Rabbids 2?
