Is there a way to dump the samples used in DS songs? by SolaceEternal at 8:08 AM EDT on May 21, 2009
I'm trying to [manually] recreate some DS songs in impulse tracker format. Is there a way to dump the samples used in said songs like you could with GBA2midi?
Here is the latest version I know. You can export as MIDI, and export all sounds as a DLS. You can also manually export all instrument samples from the DS game.
Blargh! Can someone re-upload it? All the links are down again!
Also, is this open-source? (I doubt it, since it's in a RAR, generally people who have ignorance or hatred towards open-source software use RAR archives)
Finally: Hi franpa, didn't realise you were on this forum. Wow, you get everywhere! I seem to remember QuickQuote+ works here :D

[quote]But quote tags don't, so it's a bit futile ;)[/quote]
I put it in a RAR archive, I dunno what it came in when I got it.
In answer to your question, here is the link again VGMTrans.rar, you'll have to be quick or SkyDrive will change the link again, they seem to do that sometimes. =/
Its not open source and is made by an unknown (to me anyway) author.
