I don't see any signs of deadness. I mean, the sets are still updated (of course not as often as they used to be in the past). Just because there hasn't been an update for two weeks, I wouldn't call a project dead! Besides, Mr. Gashlin is currently working on his in_cube plugin.
Yeah I think it's a case of only having a finite quantity of time in any given day... Basically things are progressing with in_cube at the moment, it is unreasonable to expect continued progress in both plugin projects simultaneously as after all, HCS is only human ;)
Why didn't FD put this on HIS forum and leave this one alone? Maybe he doesn't want to pollute his own forum? He makes such a big deal about his forum that it would be the logical thing to post such messages on his own space.
As far as I am concerned USF is not dead, but is currently holding a lower priority to DSP. However, I do not see any reason why USF could not be more active.
Point is:
FD, if you want USF to be more active, go out and rip some sets.
Rather do that or find us a place where we can buy time by the box. Hey, maybe you could come and work for us as a personal servant. I have a lot of things to do....
The priority at the moment is school. I've done a really horrible job due largely to being distracted by this music stuff, as I think Josh can identify with...
So it'll go back to being "spare time" rather than "first priority" as it's been.
It's a little thing called exams on my end. Tommorow and ALL of next week excluding Friday is packed with a shitload of exams. That, and I don't know how to rip custom driver games.
