I was looking at the AC:WW boards at GameFAQs and saw this thread. It has a link to a You Tube video about a secret song (K.K. Song) hidden in a bunch of Nintendo games. Check it out.
I've heard the song in a couple of games, but I never knew it was in so many. Has anyone come across this song when ripping/tagging songs?
Interesting. At first I thought that it may be someone with some skill in making chiptunes with a tracker, and a lot of free time. But, I checked and it is there. I do wonder if it is present in games other than the ones listed. Thanks for pointing that out.
It's in the Zelda4: LA GBS rip as well. In both locations mentioned in that video (Finally! I now know what the 2nd "Name special" song is!). Yes, that was pretty interesting. Mouser X over and out.
Heh, this is a nice find. Wouldn't have guessed that you'd have to wait at a certain stage for the song would play in Yoshi's Touch & Go. Must've been a blue moon finding.
I unpacked my Virtual Boy and played through VB Wario Land. I tried pausing/waiting in different areas and waiting at the Game Over screen but I couldn't find the hidden tune anywhere.
