You'll probably want to use the Bridge GUI for it, which is here: http://www.e2j.net/downloads.html
You don't need special sound files. M1 is a sound-only multiple arcade emulator that uses the ROMs you already have, and it can record the songs (and often sound effects) to .WAV.
Don't forget about the latest M1.XML definition file: http://mameload.mameworld.info/m1xmldownload.htm (has some more games supported, since the one in official package is ancient) and the playlist pack: http://www.e2j.net/files/lists.zip
