I tried it and it aint working. What i mean is that it wont let me do it, when i press alt-3 on the mai windows it makes the ding noise and just sits there playing the rest of Perfect Dark Credits.

Also, can you get it so that when "Display Errors" are not enabled it also stops such things as DMA and TLB errors from being displayed.

Hmm, like Josh I've been unable to get it to open two windows at once. What version of Winamp are you using? I tried on 5.07 and 2.95.
In any case I've modified it so that it won't allow two info windows even if winamp requested it.

I changed a few instances of MessageBox that were left in the RSP (and some in the Audio HLE that hadn't really been a problem) to DisplayError so they're now affected by the configuration. All the TLB errors, however, were already DisplayError, so those shouldn't show up if Display Errors is disabled anyway.

Hi hcs,

plugin configure window - help,
"64th Note Help" refer to from an external text file, or include string in resource?

I am localizing this plug-in.

I am using Winamp v2.80. I just tried it on v5 and I did not encounter the problem. (I was sure that I had tried it on v5 though...) Oh well, thanks for looking into it anyway.

marioman:
well if you could please check in v2.80 again to make sure this isn't a problem anymore in that old version

Tomoyo:
The help text is all in the wamain.c file, compiled in as a global string. A resource would have been a better way to go about it.

Still works fine under Linux. :) But Winamp is a pain in the ass to use in Linux, so I have not tested it extensively. I did play Yoshi's Story and Conker's Bad Fur Day though. :)

64th Note beta 20 checked using Winamp v2.8 - double window problem fixed.

Thanks.

I mentioned this in the Winamp in_zip thread, because I thought it might be helpful to DrO. However, I'm mentioning it here as well becuase I'm not sure where the problem lies.

When listening to some USFs in a RAR file, I changed the playtime settings to "play continously" or something like that. When I tried to play the files, it skipped past them almost immediatly. I was lucky to hear a blurb of noise at all from the files. So, the question I have is, does this happen because of the way 64th Note plays forever? I've noticed that it zeroes out the playtime in Winamp's playlist when you have that selected, and I think that might be messing up in_zip's end file detection.

Since I'm talking about the playtime, and play forever, and stuff, I figured I might as well make some suggestions. With HE, when you select "play continuously" (or whatever), the file time in the playlist doesn't disapear, but it just continues past it. Also, if you change that setting while the file is playing, but before it reaches the end, it will still end when that time is reached. I was wondering if this could be implemented in 64th Note, or if it would not be woth the effort.

Anyway, thanks in advance for your consideration on these points of interest/error. Mouser X over and out.

Ah, correct you are. DrO's in_zip tries to figure out when playback ends on itself. This is part of the reason why I think he should just let the input plugin tell his plugin when it's done (a mechanism for which I suggested), but he seems to want to try to get the current system working instead.
I think the zero time is fine, actually 64th note sets the length to -1000. I don't have any intention of changing the "play forever" behavior.
