There is a USF rip of Banjo-Tooie already, but since this is a Rare-developed game, it uses channel muting. If you're not familiar, that means it plays every variation of a song on one another.
Banjo-Kazooie's perfect rip is a once in a life-time event; usually, it'd have the same channel muting problem.
Yes, I'm fully aware of the situation. If you'll notice, I'm #9 to sign up to these forums (on day one of their initialization). I'm not saying this to brag, I'm saying this as a means of "You're preaching to the choir." I was there before USFs existed (sadly though, I wasn't around for when PSFs first came out. The internet was not available to me at that time, or else I probably would have been).
The Banjo-Tooie problems are fixable. However, it's not an easy thing to fix, and very few people have the expertise, and the time, necessary to figure out how to fix it. Once in a life-time event? Possibly, but I say it just takes more patience. I think ugetab has been hacking at it, but I'm not sure if it was BT, or something else. Nor do I recall how far he got on it. He might still be working on it, but I don't remember right now. I should have been in bed long ago... I have to get up in less than 5 hours. Good night. Mouser X over and out.
I've attempted ripping my own USFs in Banjo-Tooie, and I have the same problem as before: the channel muting problem. Someone will rip the USFs soon, possibly.
How many people here know about rarewitchproject.com? There may be some people at the forums that might be able to solve the problem if you show them this document.
