You're pissing (maybe not just) me off, PdZ. If you continue to hog all the credit to yourself, I suggest you go find something else to do. It's annoying, and unacceptable. I thought that noone in the xSF scene would bother me after I left #psf and psf_rippers, but noooo. Here I am with another bastard who is getting upset at me for trying to help. Thank you very much for being an asshole, PdZ, and I hope you move on to something else that doesn't involve getting angry at people for trying to help.

You're missing the point, PdZ.

UNKNOWNFILE isn't helping you. He's helping me. You submit your tags to me, UNKNOWNFILE submits an alternate set of timings, and it is up to me to use whatever I want (or discard both of them altogether and use my own) and credit either of you however I please. You have no right to tell me what I should do with what other people send me.
Despite what you may think, UNKNOWNFILE did not simply double your times. He manually went through all the tracks himself and timed them to two loops, much as you must have done for one loop each. Would you deny him the credit for his work?
Yes, his personality is irritating, and he tends to be a bit nitpicky, but your attitude isn't much better right now. In any case we should be able to put these things behind us to work together on the music we all enjoy.

The below post is probably induced by lack of sleep. Read it (and accept it) at your own risk.

I've been trying to say the same things as the above 2 posts, but in the nicest way possible. In other words, I hate coming right out and saying it, as I can tell PdZ doesn't take well to crticism. As such, I've been trying to help him view things from a wider perspective (for that matter, everyone here, that needs it).

Something to keep in mind about UNKNOWNFILE. He's less than 15. Now, who here remembers what it was like to be a teenager? Anyone? Well, generally, all teenagers are quite self-centered, and think they know everything, all the time (this is a general statement, mind you). Personaly, I don't find this to apply to UNKNOWNFILE. Nonetheless, as a teenager, give the guy some credit. What has he done for the emulated audio scene? Do you want me to list it out (not that I haven't already, but I can get into the nitty gritty specifics, if you really want me to)? Sure, most of the "higher ups" (those who banned him at PSF_Rippers, perhaps?) would consider his work mostly inconsequential overall, but his presence has made a differance, for the better.

The same can be said for you, PdZ. You helped tag (and yes, you helped time, but HCS prefered UNKNOWNFILE's times) the Mario Party set, among others. That's great work, and really very appreciated. I mean that. You can never find enough taggers anywhere, for some reason (of course, rippers are even scarcer, but hey, you get what you can). However, as I said before, just as UNKNOWNFILE can't destroy the universe (at least not the one we live in), you can't stop someone from timing/tagging a set, if they want to. UNKNOWNFILE wanted to do it. Sure, people may call "dibs" and such, but what it really comes down to is the overall quality of the complete works. If someone called "dibs" on tagging DKC (or whatever), and the stuff they submited looks like it was put together by a rotting fungus, chances are good that won't be accepted (unless it really was put together by a rotting fungus. Then I'd keep it for the novelty purposes. Me: "Dude! Check this out! These tags and times were put on here by a rotting fungus! Seriously, what other rotting fungus have you ever encountered that could actually do that?!" Everyone else: "But it sucks. The titles aren't even coherant, and the times last for a complete random amount of time, regardless of actual track length." Me: "But, hey, it was put on by a rotting fungus. Doesn't that give it some credit?" Everyone Else: "No. They suck. Do it over." Me: "Ah, come on...").

All that aside, I'm not saying what you did was bad, as it obviously wasn't, otherwise HCS wouldn't be using it. I'm just saying that UNKNOWNFILE provided information that HCS was looking for that yours lacked. Just because you lack something doesn't make it bad. An example is Back to the Future. If you look at that set of movies with a scientific mind, and utilize all of the current theories, you would realize that it lacked actual backing of it's time traveling plotline (arguably). However, did that make it a bad movie? No way! I love that movie, and recently went to Universal Studios just to see the DeLorean they have on display there.

Anyway, what gets me the most is how people can get so upset over the tags of an emulated audio set. Come on, it's not like it's going to land you a 1 trillion dollor job or anything (though perhaps, with luck, it could land you a 1 million dollor job, maybe?). Basically, take it as it is, and accept the fact that he was trying to help. Don't take it as a personal attack, as that's never ever what it ment to be. If you always err on the side of lenieancy, then more often than not, you'll turn out right (and this from someone who HIGHLY suspects that his roomate stole 2 of his best GC games... Yah, today sucked).

Okay, I should be gone now. Perhaps if I had gotten sleep within the last 32-34 hours, I'd be more coherant myself, and would ramble less... I should experiment on that hypothosis, and go to bed... Mouser X over and out.

I dont like to repeat myself.I dont care if this little kid is in a teenager pubertaryphase. Its MORE MUCH MUCH MORE work to tagg a set as to fix it in minutes. So i Deserve the credit and he could be listed in the comments/infofile.And i also dont care what he has done for the emulated audioscene.

Maybe iam also selfconcentrated BUT i only want the tagging field.Whats the problem with that?If Uknownchild taggs a set and I fix the timings, i also dont want credit in the taggerfield.Hopefully u understood that finally, and if hcs or u mouser x dont accept that...I do nothing. If its no problem for all of u find tagger which are sitting at home and working hard like hcs is working hard on rips, then it will be ok.But dont forget how fast i tagged all the sets i have tagged until now.

Iam 19 and u are maybe right with the "teenager"thing, but if he dont control his self, I also will not be nice.I dont get money for that what Iam doing and I dont only want the credit.

The MOST MOST important thing is, that I dont like people speaking or writing shit before they are thinking. If he had done things in a better/nicer way, I wouldnt have problems with his name in the taggerfield as well.

And of course i understand why ur are angry about my "self thinking" behaviour.BUT and there is a "but" in this, I only get this taggerfield with my name in it.Nothing else.Do I?I also help the emulated audioscene.HCS does great work, You do great work and Uknownfile as well.
I Hope u understand that or this discuss is finished...

bye

Apparently, the discussion is finished, because it is PdZ who doesn't seem to understand. I could go into it further, but I'd basically be repeating myself. Apparently, compromises can't be made with PdZ, understanding can't be reached, viewpoints can't be opened, and "err on the side of leniency" can't be accepted. I've said my fill. Mouser X over and out (and still tired from only 3 hours sleep this morinig).
