No, you need a tool called "toWave", which converts XMA files to WAV files. And sometimes, that tool doesn't work. I don't know about the XMA files in Battlefield 1943, so I have no idea if those work with toWave or not. Hope that helps a little. Mouser X over and out.

Thanks but I've tryed toWave. It didn't do anything for Battlefield 1943 XMA's.

The XMA's seems to be headerless.

Four steps:
1. This should have gone in a different thread, as it is about playing, not distribution.

2. Run the Battlefield XMA through unpack1943 (on the ripping tools page. It is used like: unpack1943 file.dat out.xma
to create the file "out.xma"

3. Attach a header (here's one), put this at the beginning of out.xma

4. Run out.xma through toWav.

[edit]
Actually, it looks like Sir-Sabin already did step 2. You still need to attach a header to get toWav to do anything with it, though.

I managed to find an MP3 rip of the Darius Burst soundtrack on a Russian website:

I've re-uploaded it to megaupload as you had to register to download.

The file names are the same as the file names on the ISO, so I guess that whoever converted to MP3 was able to somehow decode the wxv streams as there's no soundtest in the game.

Here's the full wxv set if anyone would like to take a look:

Oh, so you just changed the extensions then. If anybody downloaded mine first, you only need to change the extentions to .at3 you don't need to download again.

So, the FMVs in Kingdom Hearts II use headerless ATRAC3 for audio. So, I made a custom RIFF header for it. It's really just standard ATRAC3 (non-plus) so it's playable if you have the codec installed. File from the opening fmv:
PSS_9-Alt0.at3
enjoy :P
Mario Kart Wii streams by TheUltimateKoopa at 12:04 PM EST on January 25, 2010
So, I got that set of Mario Kart Wii, from the tracker, which has all the BNS, BRSTM, DSP and RWAV files. It contains 5 rwav files, all of which have revo_kart_ followed by 00000289, 0000028A, 0000028B, 0000028C, and 00000571.

What I was wondering was, are there any revo_kart_*.rwav files where * is less than 00000289, or between 0000028C and 00000571, or above 00000571? I just seems weird that there's a 289-28C, then 571. I'm assuming they is or was something like revo_kart_00000463.rwav, randomly picking a number.

Just Ignore that. it's just combined with sfx and other stuffs when i extracted it. Leave it be.
