@bxaimc: Ah, that did it. Thanks for the rip.

@Sir-Sabin: It is sequenced...sort of. Apparently the the Menu theme and the Waves Theme are the only tracks that are streamed. I am assuming that the rest are sequenced.

i have some more rips

NHL 97 (1996)(EA Sports)[PSX][CD-DA][FLAC]
N+ (2008)(Slick Entertainment)[XBLA][Xiph Vorbis][OGG]
Puzzle Bobble Live (2009)(Taito)[XBLA][Xbox Media Audio][XMA][XWB]

and

Mega Man X8 aka RockMan X8 (2004)(Capcom)[PS2][CRI ADX ADPCM][ADX] with the real filenames

for the people who have it use this to get the real filenames

Mega Man X8 dat and missing file

Enjoy

Edit: i have replaced the par files with a dat and put the missing file in the same folder, people that downloaded the par file don't have to download this as the par file would give you the missing file, plz keep the .nfo file to as that is in the dat file now

So I've been playing around with Halo 3 for sometime now and played around with 010_jungle.map especially and found Sierra 117's bgm. Looks like it works by having the main stream play and then instrument samples are added as you progress through the level. Still testing the stuff but here's a treat:

I've ripped out the brsar from Blaster Master: Overdrive (Wii Ware), and I've tested ripping_mama and brsar_unpack, and only mama managed to get the Sound Effects. The Music BGM is still inside, and I can't rip them yet.

I'm releasing it in case someone would be able to help me convert the music to RWAV or something similar. ^^;

EDIT: Nevermind, I looked in the Brsar Player Wii Channel topic and found "brsartests". It made some RSEQ, RWSD and RWAR files from the BRSAR. They are sequenced. o.o;

Everything you described makes it sound like it's sequenced to me, and that it is therefore currently unplayable/unrippable. In fact, it looks like you might have the sequence files (I don't know about the sample banks/instruments) themselves. But since there's nothing available that can use/convert them, they're not really helpful.

In other words, it's very unlikely this game is streamed, and if that's the case, it doesn't belong in this thread, and it can't (and never will) be played by VGMstream. If I'm wrong, then I encourage you to seek a second opinion. Mouser X over and out.

Well, sequences found in brsars use rwavs for samples which are in rbnk files. Oh look, this is the 666th reply on the thread. Lucky me =P

I downloaded lossless streams of Super Paper Mario (in the format of brstmspm) from FF Shrine Forums. The reason was simply because the streams I ripped from the ISO were playing either twice as fast or half the speed and stuff. Anyway, can someone tell me the "official" track names for the streams? There's 135 streams, at least in the set I downloaded. btl_boss_middle1_44k_lp for example, doesn't really give you any clue as to exactly what it is. Some of them do, e.g. I'm assuming that btl_boss_stg1_22k_lp is the music when you battle Fracktail (that's the boss of stage 1, right? I've only watched the game, never played it, but I'm sure it's stage 1). But yeah, is there a list of track lists, and what streams should be named what? The official tracklist only has 90 tracks, possibly because certain tracks are merged as medleys (like the Credits theme in Ocarina of Time is 3 seperate miniusf files, but one single track on the official soundtrack).

Just fyi, the you could have played the stuff from the ISO at the right speed by renaming the files from .brstm to .brstmspm. I don't have titles for ya.

It was easier to download them, though <_<. Does anyone else have either a tagged set, or at least a list of titles corresponding to each of the streams?
