Many thanks Knurek, checking out Kirby Mass Attack now.
by Lunar at 3:14 PM EDT on October 24, 2011
I would be interested in Mass Attack, but alas, i do not have my own computer. boohoo. boohoohoo.

i like that Shogo Sakai finally did a new soundtrack though. hooray!
by Knurek at 3:25 PM EDT on October 24, 2011
Just FYI, I'm not sure if Kirby's score was done by him - going by the information taken from forums/Wikipedia.
by TheUltimateKoopa at 8:31 PM EDT on October 24, 2011
If Wikipedia says Shogo Sakai did it, it must be correct. They have no reason to make it up... and seriously, anyone who has that stupid "u ken edit stufz" needs to shut up. Yes you can edit... but I really hate it when people actually say Wikipedia is reliable -- it is actually very reliable... you're more likely to find outdated information that actual false information.
by hcs at 6:05 AM EDT on October 25, 2011
Sure people have reasons to make it up, even if it's as simple as "I want to know, but I don't know, so I will speculate." There's plenty of random theories, explanations, and attributions with no citations to back them up.

But this isn't really the place to discuss it!

In this case we at least have Lunar's reading of the credits, though I do wonder about this list.

I have a distrust for Wikipedia as an academic source of information from when I was doing my master's thesis.

I'm not saying that it's worthless for everyday use, because it isn't. Still, the only reliable source of information to me is the game's Staff Roll, preferably seen with my own eyes.

One other thing - I've been looking lately at my Nintendo DS directory and... Well, I'd really like to have it as complete as possible. So expect more rips in the near future, real life permitting. :)

Master of 2SF ripping, et al. ;)

aye, check what hcs linked. someone else did the reading on my behalf, but he only mentioned shogo sakai to me, not the other name. maybe you might want to verify. at least we know ishikawa and ando didn't work on it -- no, they were too busy collaborating on return to dream land :3 *orgasm*

i agree about wikipedia by the way. it's better not to take anything on there as gospel... always look up where the information comes from, especially if it looks suspicious.

"If Wikipedia says Shogo Sakai did it, it must be correct. They have no reason to make it up... and seriously, anyone who has that stupid "u ken edit stufz" needs to shut up"

why are you always so angry?
i've seen plenty of halftruths on there... often it's unintentional, either via misinterpretation or mistranslation, though sometimes it's down to editor bias (where they use a small amount of evidence as being proof of what they WANT to be true.) an example would be someone saying that Koji Kondo composed for Super Mario Kart, on the basis that a small amount of his music is used and because he worked on other mario games. that sort of thing happens quite often.
generally, the wider interest an article has, the more likely the information it has will be correct. fringey articles with only a few editors... beware.

anyway, go for it knurek :D courage!
i'm still hopeful that 3DS music will get a music format as well.

WALL-E (2008)(Helixe)(THQ)
Zombie Shiki Eigoryoku Soseijutsu - English of the Dead (2008)(Now Production)(Sega)

Notable games include Cave's Princess Debut (not a good score by any means, but seeing the bullet-hell shmup developer doing a girly dancing game is worthy the ride) and Soul Bubbles. Spectral Force Genesis, Kunitori Zunou Battle: Nobunaga no Yabou, My World My Way and Zombie Shiki Eigoryoku Soseijutsu: English of the Dead aren't half bad as well. YMMV. :)
