Wow, even blargg's VGM core with his resampling gives the hi-hat sounds in the Streets of Rage games a pitch. I thought high quality resampling would fix that?

GME currently uses code from Gens for VGM playback. kode54's build uses a modified version of MAME stuff (IIRC with the recent stuff from Nemesis), and AamirM's build of my stuff uses his own custom core, with blargg's FIR resampler in use.

- What about Genesis Plus GX (Wii)? From what I can tell, it's an updated MAME core by eke-eke (he updates it for releases of the emulator.)
Maxim is using it for in_vgm2.
Not sure which is best, other than in_vgm2 mostly sounding really good.

- I checked Genesis Plus GX.
And yes, it has the recent research by Nemesis (including SSG-EG emulation). So, it seems to be on par with Kega Fusion and Regen.
Haven't checked that SMS issue, since i havent got test files for that system...D:
