Just gotta say, I love this tool. It has saved me a lot of time from having to use hex editors. Specifically the the advanced cutter feature. I have made quite a few preset XML files of my own.

So I just want say thanks for this great tool @snakemeat.

Could support be added for extracting the names of the sequences and waves extracted by the advanced cutter, like the SDAT-specific ripper?

I've found a tool that prints some name data called BCSAR_TOOL:

That might help (no source, unfortunately, but maybe GovanifY will give it to you if you tweet him)

I can give specifications for a potential SMAP-like generator for bcsars and bfsars. It's tedious, but it'd be neat to have.

@cyberspeed, right now, converting subtitles would require more rework than I'm ready to undertake for the Video Demuxer.

@soneek, are you saying you've analyzed BCSARs and BFSARs and could provide a description of the format?
by soneek at 4:43 AM EDT on June 12, 2015
Yes. They're almost identical structure-wise, but wih reverse byte order. I guess I'll post my source code and add start adding detailed notes to my Github this weekend. I doubt I'll get around to cleaning it up like I originally planned.

Does vgmt support xgd3 discs?

Does vgmt support xgd3 discs?

Yes, it should. I tested a few discs back when I added the code for it, but if you have any discs that fail, please let me know.

Okay just wondering, no problems. Just wanted to know.

@soneek
Thanks.

Hopefully it will be possible to extract sound files with that sort of data soon.

Thank you for at least looking in to it, much appreciated.
Do you know how can .PNGs subtitle images be extracted with out being corrupt or scrambled from with in .bin format that video demuxer outputs?
