New Stylus RMX Discovery by sirsoundfont at 12:17 AM EDT on June 27, 2017
I think I found something that nobody else has. In the game Pokepark Wii, a cutscene plays when you go to a new area for the first time. In the Beach Zone intro, there is a loop from Stylus RMX. It's 63 - Hiccup Island combo-a, at around a tempo of 85 BPM. Here's a link to the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXY1J8Uwd-o

I think this is more likely to be the ocarina in OoT than the one from the Proteus/3: http://www.synthmania.com/Roland%20SR-JV80-05%20World/Audio/115%20Ocarina%203.mp3

The bandoneon in Professor Layton and the Curious Village is actually from the JV-1080 and not PlugSound, so that finding was false.

What hardware did yoko shimomura use for orchestra sounds in KH2?
by sirsoundfont at 10:07 PM EDT on June 28, 2017
@peronmls If you want the instruments from KH2, you can rip the SF2 Soundfont files from the game using VGMTrans and .PSF2 files of the game audio. (FLStudio has a built-in Soundfont player to compose music with them)

@sirsoundfont
I'm seeing if anybody may know the source of them.
So no. I don't need the soundfont nor do I want them.
Source thread not the opposite.

Does anyone know the source of this guitar sample? It's used in Kids Run Through the City from Final Fantasy VI.
by G-Boy at 11:13 AM EDT on July 2, 2017
@Enclave123
I tried the JV-1080 dashboard, but it only produces sound when I choose the GM bank. When I choose another bank, it goes completely silent, and it even stays silent when I choose the GM bank again after choosing another bank. Sometimes it plays 64voicePiano after I've changed the number of the channel, but only one time. After that, it goes completely silent again.

I don't want my JV-1080 to stop working, so I'll use MIDI Out instead.

@G-Boy

I could understand and in fact i have this issue before one time i have this issue is by changing the port to current it so i can play sounds.

Sometimes i fixed this issue through perform mode and go to parameter + palette + control by turning the midi channels switches on and then go to midi channel while fixing the channel numbers by correcting them into 1 to 16.

Have you made any demos of the samples?
