Mission: Impossible Tags by marioman at 10:54 AM EDT on April 4, 2006
You guys will be happy to know that I have been able to identify all of the tracks in the Mission: Impossible USF set. I will finish tagging and timing the set soon.

Before I finish, I have a question. Some of the music is used for many levels, should I make the track name the first level in which the music appears or should I go ahead and list all of the levels where it is played?

As soon as I get a response, I will get it finished up.

Thanks.

Both methods have been used with success... I don't know which I'd prefer. I'll let someone else weigh in.

If you do not have a preference, I will go ahead and tag by the first level appearance. The tags would be very messy if I were to put all of the level names in them. The longest one would be something like "Lundkwist Base, Subpen, Train Roof, Subpen II." That would be kind of long if you ask me.

Is it alright for me to go ahead or do you still want more feedback?

It's your tagging, it's Josh's set, I don't see why I should have a say in it.
But in the interest of getting it done:
Go ahead with the short naming.

whatever.
If it looks cool, do it.

I say, either the the first level/area where you encounter the music, or a general name (like, for FF games, they have "Battle Theme" or something). Also, if you include track numbers, I'd suggest ordering the tracks based on when you encounter them as well (unless you have a better method, of course. In my opinion, alphebetical is not better than numbers...). Glad you hear you got it done. That's awesome. Mouser X over and out.

I think it is funny to begin a sentance with "I say,"

Because you are the all-knowing USF master and your opinion is the LAW! :) Really, I appreciate your feedback.

I have completed the tags using name of the level where the song is first used. Now on to timing...
