Install Python first. You then need to run the two scripts ("programs") with some arguments ("parameters") passed in to them. If you're on Windows, you'll most likely be able to just drop files/folders onto the .py files instead of supplying them by commandline. For uber-extract.py, you pass one or more uber files to the script. For musyx-extract.py you pass a folder (containing .sdir and .samp files) to the script.
