Touch My Katamari (2011-12-17)(Bandai Namco Entertainment)

nus3bank format with atrac9. Use an atrac9 decoder and nus3bank.bms.

Yay! Now to see if someone rips Soul Sacrifice Delta, that game's music is pure bliss.

Has the Vita just now been cracked or was it rippable for a while?
by hoodlum47 at 8:39 AM EST on February 6, 2016
Games are rippable but it's a hassle. You need to be on firmware 3.52 or lower in order to use the needed exploits in the Email app, and the exploit itself is not straightforward or really easy, but it basically gives us read/write access to most of the system but only for flies under 15MB (because the files are sent as attachments).

Basically to dump Vita games you need to modify one of the system databases by retrieving it through the email exploit, then changing an entry for a psp/ps1 game so when you select it to be backed up via CMA (the Vita transfer app) it dumps the whole memory card instead. There's also another step in-between if you want the dumped files to be decrypted but I think you get the gist of it.

Finally, a proper thread!

And you decided to start the thread by posting the untouched music rip from a game I always fought to find. Awesome!

Oh, and by the way, I don't have a nus3bank.bms script. I tried to get the script after some googling, but it didn't work because it went offline. Can anyone point me where it is?

@AnonRunzes, finding nus3bank.bms is the easy part. It's linked to in the first google result I see(a GBAtemp thread). Now, finding a working link to the atrac9 decoder is another thing.

EDIT: Found it. Just gotta know what to search for: "at9tool".

Damn, my firmware is far too updated. I'd wanna do a dump of Valhalla Knights 3's audio files, though it would suck if it turns out to be a big sound archive.

I have firmware 3.35... not sure how to approach the exploit for further help in rips.

Only games I have atm are Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, Persona 4 Golden, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.

Here's the original instruction:

most of the work are going to be in app.db
1- add a value in table tbl_uri like the following
NPXS10000;1;ux0;
2- modify NPXS10000 eboot.bin path in tbl_appinfo to vs0:app/NPXS10027/eboot.bin
3- overwrite the modified app.db using email app and reboot
4- now use the browser to call the new uri with your target game . example :
ux0:app/PCSA00017
apparently near app will open the game manual.
5- minimize near then dump the game using the psp pboot trick using CMA (while the near app still open)

I have a PSTV at OFW 3.18. What do I need to do to rip music?
