XSB/XWB in a WBA container (Codename Kids Next Door Operation VGM) XBOX by Mygoshi at 7:37 AM EST on February 20, 2017
a WBA file contains XSB and XWB (with plain-text filenames). The problem is that I tried to decrypt the files using unxwb. It gaves me a lot of WAV files, with 32000 in frequency and "ADP" in filetype. I just can't play the extracted WAV files. Note that when I scan that WBA file with EkszBox, it gives me a XWB file, and when I use unxwb with this extracted XWB, I obtain 32000 files but with XMA filetype instead.

Link to the original WBA archive : https://mega.nz/#!rwsRkYYZ!K504y_XUZz5p-dfm-xFy3fUUDq6lOzyPfLtEvNrY46k

Attached AOS file : https://mega.nz/#!q0FUVI4S!nuOjG37peUZfyB89wSLZtTWLYXHDl5KmP1qNQIl0lVU

Attached AOB file : https://mega.nz/#!791HxSAK!41Lyh0pBofRcUPBM6uQf0jKGEIQ0l527k41lG9yw5-o

I tried a lot of sotwares, I tried to rename, tried to add header, remove header, play them as raw, but I can't obtain a good result.

Here you go :)

@Infernus Animositas - Can you at least explain what did you do just to make that particular rip?

Anyway, .aos/.aob are just information needed to run the .wba file in the game. They`re useless in retrospect.

Besides, the .wba file in question is not encrypted. All you have to do is extract them by just typing the -R parameter on unxwb. Then use these extracted raw files(.dat) to convert them to GENH on VGMToolbox. The settings are as follows:

Input File Format: XBOX 4-bit IMA ADPCM
Header Skip: 0
Channels: 2
Frequency: 32000
Interleave: 0x800

That`s it. I have no idea about the filenames though.

Sure AnonRunzes

I cut the first 0x800 bytes as it wasn't necessary

0x800 - 0x1000 is the globalos.xsb file
0x1000 to 0x0071A800 is the globalos.xwb archive

Then I used Psychonauts Explorer to open up the .xwb archive and since there is a .xsb file as well it assigns filenames to the tracks and you can export them as .wav files

Would love an upload to the full rip if it's not too much trouble!~

Why do you want to rip this? I have an idea, but don't try to steal content.
