HCS Forum - Diddy Kong Racing

Diddy Kong Racing by Poobah1 at 5:38 AM EST on December 10, 2007: Just in case you guys have forgotten (or are unaware), the Player Select track from the Diddy Kong Racing USF set still needs to be split up into a one-track-per-game-character format since it's one of those tracks that uses multiple sets of instruments and effects and things, like in the Banjo games.

EDIT: Also, the track, "island" also needs to be split up.

by Lunar at 5:59 AM EST on December 10, 2007: Yeab there's quite a few dynamic tracks that could be split up. That'd be neat. Alos, there's quite a few tracks that are missing instruments IIRC. I know that Darkmoon Caverns is. I wonder why -- was the DSP area of the ROM not ripped with the set or somesuch?

EDIT: turns out I had a really old set. the re-rip by UF has the DSP stuff emulated. also.. ha, ugetab saves the day again. perhaps the set on the site should be updated to include those.

ugetab however did all the splitting work.
